I'm so excited.....And I just can't hide it!

I have been waiting very patiently for the past month and a few weeks. And, finally, tomorrow has arrived! Hopefully by this time tomorrow Ben and I will be home with our new addition - Malika! We're going to brave the possible snow/cold weather storm and make the 3 hour drive to Molalla, OR. I'm a giant mix of nerves and excitement. I still can't believe that Ben did this wonderful thing for me - without sounding too mushy and sappy - it is really sweet that he did so much for me.

I think the house is all ready for the little pup. We've got toys, a crate, food and water bowls, and general puppy care stuff. I'm pretty sure that this little puppy is going to spoiled more than anything. Buying all the dog toys was the most fun I've had in months! Granted I haven't done anything except for school for the past few months.

My first semester of grad school was insane. I was not at all prepared for the amount of work. The workload at Evergreen was completely manageable and did not consume very much time. The workload at Argosy, however, is all consuming and actually needs brain power to complete. With all that said, I am loving it. It is what I'm interested in, so although it's difficult, it's what I want to be doing. I'm still having a hard time believing that in just a year and a half - which I'm sure will fly by - I'll be working with clients and earning wages doing something that I went to school for! Oh the novelty!

As a side note - we've been watching Mad Men. Finished season 1 and now onto season 2. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Very Good!
